FAQs
General Questions
What types of locations are most in demand for photo and film shoots?

High-demand locations include modern interiors, industrial lofts, minimalist homes, and properties with open spaces and great natural light. Versatile layouts and neutral settings tend to attract more bookings, as they can be adapted to various creative briefs. However, unique or niche locations—such as historic buildings, boats, warehouses, or rooftop spaces—are also valuable for specific projects.

Well-lit, high-quality photos significantly improve booking chances. If you need professional images, we can arrange a photo shoot for you.

How does the booking process work?

There are two main ways bookings happen:

1. Direct Requests – Clients browse listings on our website and send a request for a specific location.

2. Scouted Requests – We receive a client brief and suggest suitable locations from our database.

Once a client selects a location, we contact the owner to confirm availability. Bookings never happen without your consent. Once confirmed, we finalize the details and connect both parties.

How long does it typically take to receive a first booking?

This depends on your location’s versatility, size, and accessibility. Highly adaptable properties in well-connected areas tend to be booked faster. We receive multiple client inquiries daily, but niche locations may take longer to match with the right project.

Do I need to be present while the crew is working in my home?

No, you don’t need to be present. Production teams are experienced professionals who work independently. However, if you prefer to be on-site, you are welcome to stay.

Will the crew bring a lot of heavy equipment into my home?

It depends on the production. Photo shoots typically require minimal equipment, while film productions may involve larger setups. Crews are responsible for ensuring that your property is treated with care.

Will crews move furniture or make changes to my space?

Yes, teams may adjust furniture or decor for the shoot, but they are required to return everything to its original state afterward. If you have restrictions, we can communicate them to the client in advance.

What happens if a shoot lasts multiple days? Can I stay in my home?

In most cases, you can still stay in your home. If exclusive access is required, we will arrange a higher rental fee to cover alternative accommodation costs.

Can I list a location that isn’t a house, such as a boat, office, warehouse, studio, or event space?

Absolutely! We accept all types of locations, including offices, warehouses, event spaces, retail stores, lofts, studios, industrial spaces, castles, sailing boats, yachts, gliders or even classic cars.
